Berjaya Redang, Malaysia
By jykwan | December 18, 2007
Redang is an island off the coast of Terengganu a state in Malaysia. It’s an average boat ride of 40 minutes from Merang Jetty, but for Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, boat departure is at Kuala Terengganu main Jetty. You can take a flight by Berjaya from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore to Berjaya Redang if you want too.
So far for this post I am going to talk about the Resort itself. Berjaya Redang is a 5 star resort that offers a nice holiday and water activities like snorkeling and scuba diving. Redang is famous for its marine life, so snorkeling is a good option for most people and diving for divers.

I have been to redang a few times and just felt like talking about it, so here goes. The room I normally get is the chalets which is arranged in a tropical garden environment. It’s nice and cooling and comfortable.

The view from the main building where the restaurants, bar, café, games room and etc can be very nice both night, day and morning. Unfortunately Berjaya redang does not get to see the sunset as if faces north .

Berjaya is quite a nice resort to go to as it has a lot of facilities and activities. But maybe the downside to it is the price. A 3 day 2 nights normal package for 2 is not cheap, comes to around RM488 per person, and that is not peak. Breakfast and dinner included, lunch on your own, activities optional. Additional nights go for RM50 per night during weekdays and RM100 for public holidays and weekends.
There are optional activities there as well which included Aromatherapy massage, Scuba Diving, Marine Park Snorkeling Trip and Jungle Tracking.
But let me put it this way, you pay for the convenience and facilities. It is really a nice resort to go to. Hey I’ve been here a few times.
Just thought that this is a nice view
