Berjaya langkawi malaysia, the resort i stayed in when i was in langkawi. A resort the mixes the jungle and water chalets theme making a comfortable nature friendly experience. I spent 5 days in langkawi where i spent most of my time out and my parents especially spent most of their time at the resort which is mostly why i chose this place. The packages they offer are mostly 3 days 2 nights at the starting price of roughly RM400 for 2 adults per day, so you could do the calculation for 5 days (weekends and public holidays charge extra, so i went on weekdays).
Berjaya Langkawi offers spa facilities and other outdoor facilities like jungle tracking, cycling and jet skiing. If you want to go to langkawi tours like snorkeling and tours to places of interest, Berjaya Langkawi has contacts to outside contractors which can be arrange by the resort on your behalf. The price diference is not all that much considering that Berjaya Langkawi takes care of all the reservations and confirmation for you. Its a 5 Star rated resort, and you would most likely have to call a buggy if you want to go around the resort cause it a chalet resort with over 500 rooms so you could guess how big the land is.

On the whole if i were to recommend this resort, i would say if you are planning to spend 80% of your time in the resort and 20% of your time out, then this is a good resort to be in, otherwise you can have better use of your budget. Just a rough info, i spent about RM3000 for 5 weekdays for 4 adults so it ain’t all that cheap. But its worth the comfort and convenience atleast.
