This was just a random trip to try out my new camera skills on taking pictures of moving water. Sungai Gabai is a local recreation site for the small village of Kampung Gabai. Its a place where the locals can relax and enjoy themselves anytime of the day especially when the weather is hot. Visitors can take a dip in the water as the water is cool and nice.

The resort i stayed in was Pulau Tenggol Beach Resort. Do not expect great luxuries from this little island. Water is pumped from an underground source. Electricity is generated from a generator from 6pm to 9am. Hot water is provided thou, using gas. Expect the basic of all amenities.

During my stay there, there was a joint venture military exercise between the Malaysian and US Navy. As you can see the US cargo frigate anchored out there.

The beach does have a few nice games to play.

That’s about all of the pictures i took. It is very unfortunate that i didn’t get to take any underwater pictures as i actually saw alot of nice things especially the extremely rare and elusive whale shark. What a pity.
